This training was designed to allow teachers (SD, SMP, SMA, SMK) to make interactive multimedia web-based exercises accessible by the students. The content of the training will cover the overview of e-learning in general, planning the lesson, and creating multimedia web-based exercises.

This training offers tutorial exercise in which participants can practice directly with the program while listening to the trainer. The trainers will give step by step assistance to the participants. The trainers are experts and practitioners working in the field of multimedia-based teaching. We are a team of enthusiastic and experienced trainers who works efficiently and friendly with technology.

At the end of this training, participants will be expected to make a project work demonstrating their knowledge on creating a complete package of multimedia exercises. Course Objective
This training is specially designed to train teachers to enhance their understanding on e-learning and multimedia, and also develop their skills in creating computer based exercise by using authoring software. It is aimed to help teachers in catering student's needs to be exposed to interactive multimedia web-based exercises rather than the paper-based ones.

This multimedia web-based exercise can be used by students both in internet connected computer and stand alone computer. Having finished the training, it is expected that the participants will be able to create a complete package of interactive multimedia web-based exercise using authoring software. During this training, the participants will:

• Be introduced to e-learning including theoretical background and samples
• Discuss some steps in planning multimedia lessons
• Work on some media to support the multimedia lessons
• Create interactive multiple-choice, fill-in-the-gap, matching, crossword, and jumbled-word exercises
• Configure and customize, the appearance of the web page
• Create a complete package of multimedia exercise

• Editing the supporting media
• Editing and inserting picture, sound and video files

Day 2: Planning a Lesson

• Designing the configuration and compiling all the exercise in the module
• Planning and designing a multimedia-based module
• Choosing the topic
• Selecting the supporting media
• Creating the exercises
