IP Network

IP Network is a short course in computer network field which focus on current technologies to meet the demands of the future. The training program can include on the job training in client's real work environment. TSNA is a curriculum designed by TalentSource for individuals who want to enhance their IP Networking skills and becoming an agent before entering industry areas. This curriculum includes several topics about IP Network Fundamentals, Router and Routing Concepts, Switching Basics and Intermediate Routing, and WAN Technologies. This session is enriched by hands on lab configuration and troubleshooting process. Real industry cases are also discussed in this session.

 

Course Objective TSNA

  • Understand the basic concepts of how a host (computer) works in the process of sending data to the destination through a network,
  • Understand the functions of the devices on a network in supporting the process of data travel from source to the destination,

  • Understand the concept of how routing protocols work in the category of IGP (Interior Gateway Protocol) such as RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF and able to configure them in a router in applying the concept of dynamic routing,
  • Understand the concept of the switching process performed by a switch and device configurations to be implemented into the concept of inter-VLAN routing,
  • Understand the concept, feature, and configuration of the existing technology in the WANs such as PPP and Frame Relay,
  • Able to process incoming and outgoing data traffic restrictions using Access Control Lists (ACLs) mechanism,
  • Understand the user management in the process of using the Internet in NAT (Network Address Translation) mechanism.

Part2: TalentSource Network Specialist (TSNS)
TSNS is a curriculum created by TalentSource for participant who wants to be a network specialist. The material covers the concept of high performance network design. Practical lab and real cases from industry are discussed in depth to prepare the participant to be a specialist.

 

Course Objective TSNS

  • Able to understand the configuration procedure and process of the BGP routing protocol in connecting the network with different administrative regions (Autonomous System),
  • Able to manage multicast data traffic through PIM routing protocol,
  • Able to perform configuration process as well as the procedures of several technologies used in building a VPN network such as IPSec and MPLS-VPN,
