AMINEF ETA and RELO ELF Bahasa Indonesia Training

TalentSource designed a three week Bahasa Indonesia Program to support English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) and English Language Fellow (ELF) Program for AMINEF and RELO from 24 August 2011 to 9 September 2011.

The English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) awards offer a unique opportunity for U.S. students holding BA's or Master's degrees to teach English in one of 24 countries abroad under the U.S. student Fulbright program. Since its inception in 2004, the ETA program in Indonesia has grown exponentially. In 2010/2011, the program sent 44 ETAs to various cities around Indonesia to assist local high school and Islamic boarding schools (Pesantrens) English teachers.

And through the English Language Fellow Program (EL Fellow) provided by Regional English Language Officer (RELO). Highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)participate in 10-month-long fellowships at academic institution through out the world.

This is the fourth Bahasa Indonesia Program from TalentSource for AMINEF ETA Program and this is the first Bahasa Indonesia Program combined with RELO ELF Program. There are 40 ETA participants and 14 ELF participants from all over America. The participants were divided into 4 groups (2 basic groups and 1 intermediate group and 1 advance group) and undergo a 4 hour Bahasa Indonesia classes per day.
